This Privacy Policy describes how the Precious Metals app ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect personal information that identifies you, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not require an account. We do not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information.

Information Collected Automatically

To keep the App stable and functional, we use Google Firebase:

• Firebase Crashlytics — collects anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data (device model, OS version, and technical crash details) to help us fix bugs. This data is not used to identify you.
• Firebase Remote Config — uses an anonymous installation identifier to deliver configuration settings (such as feature toggles and update notices). It does not track your activity.

Local Storage

Your preferences (default currency, default screen, weight unit, appearance mode) are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to us.

Market Data

The App fetches metal prices, exchange rates, and historical charts from our own data server. Our server sources this market data from metalpriceapi.com. Your device communicates only with our server, and these requests do not include any personal information about you. No personal data is shared with the data provider.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Remote Config), governed by Google's Privacy Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Tracking & Advertising

The App contains no third-party advertising, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal account to access or delete. You can stop all automatic diagnostic collection at any time by uninstalling the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
